Update | Sharma Wedding

This wedding will prove to be an exciting one! After an initial consultation, we have learned that the couple are mixed race and young. They envision a colourful, loud, and fun wedding to accomodate their cultures, families, and younger guests. The groom is East Indian and the Bride is Caucasian Canadian; both in their mid twenties. Afrer meeting with them we have learned what their style is and what they want to see on their big day. They want accomodate 200 people at their venue, and must have the ability to bring outside catering in, as the grooms side has a strict religious diet. They want their wedding to be bright and colourful; making use of reds, oranges, golds while using accent colours in the peacock range. Knowing these few things we can begin planning their day in the right way. With budget in mind, we now know what criteria to look for in a venue, as well as where the budget would be directed preferably.

Note: It is important and a good idea to ask the client what the level of importance is on the following:
- Food (Quantity & Quality)
- Venue Size, Location, Capacity
- Guest List Size
- Decor

The reason being, that when you know the priorities then you know where sacrifices can be made if needed. For example, if the food is the important thing, where the couple wish to have outside catering due to diet and family consuming the expense, then we know we can direct the budget more towards, the open bar, or decor. A venue that is less desirable can be chosen and then decor can play a major role in perfecting the vision.
